Where is a good place to see metal shows in the Bay Area now days? I dont know any clubs I'd like to go to anymore besides BAGG. But that is wed night and I live way in theeast bay and can never make it on a weeknight. I'm a tired old thang. I did have a really good time at the Red Devil Lounge on Polk a while back. There were four cover bands. Children Of The Damned ( Iron Maiden tribute band ). They were great. A King Diamond tribute. They kind of sucked. A Metallica tribute band. I wanted to stay but we didnt because I was hanging out with a famous notorious author and his "compadre." And we wanted to go somewhere else that wasnt so loud so we could talk.
